Mossy goes Gypsy

I'm not always a fan of Kate Moss, sometimes I think everyone's perception of her is just one big hype. However, there are occasions when I think she's great and I remember why she's so famous and her shoot for V magazine on sale tomorrow is one of those occasions.

The shoot titled "Kate and the Gypsies" shows Moss with real life Gypsies (I think) in rural Cornwall.

I think Kate looks great in the shoot. The whole image looks great especially in the first shot when she's on a horse, her face and the background and the props all look just right. I also think that some of the clothes she's wearing remind me of clothes she has or would wear to Glastonbury, the muddy setting certainly helps fit the image.

Another thing: I'm pretty sure the jumper Kate wears in the third picture is by Luella and is the same jumper Alexa Chung wore during a Marie Claire shoot that I posted here.

I just found that the Mayor London, BORIS JOHNSON is going to be the cover boy of the next ELLE uk magazine!!

The method to Elle's madness: it's in order to celebrate this years 25th anniversary of London fashion week.

Talking about the cover Boris said : "Lorraine (Candy the editor-in-chief) took what for many might seem a huge risk. Who would have expected me to grace an Elle cover - or any other fashion magazine? The capital leads the world in producing innovative designers, so I'm thrilled to have been involved in this special issue celebrating 25 years of British Fashion Week"

This is defintely great press for Elle magazine as I'm sure they all realise who would expect a wild haired "eccentric" politician on the cover of a fashion magazine and I'm sure Boris now thinks he's "down" with the fashion kids!

Also in this issue you'll find Lily Allen, Pete Doherty and Vivenne Westwood. Boris is also the third person after Lorraine Candy and Donatella Versace to write the editor's letter.

The issue is out tomorrow.
